Hi there! I’m James Haven and I created the Healthcare Beans blog and podcast.
Here’s what I do. I search for unintended consequences in healthcare strategy and policy. In simple terms, I focus on what can go wrong, how will it go wrong, and when will it go wrong. In more complicated terms, my work involves data analysis, prediction and speculation – combining structural elements of a system with anticipated human behaviors. I view healthcare in the United States through the lens of unintended consequences.
In my day job, I lead healthcare transformation projects – see my LinkedIn for details. And in my spare time I work on bitcoin-related projects.
